PACA
Membership
Membership in PACA has diminished over time and through the COVID pandemic. It is important that a community association that collects dues from members and acts on member input, fully represents the community in which it operates. The 2024/25 Board has a goal to increase membership including:
- Seeking Community Input: Develop strategies to improve communication between PACA and the community, ensuring our goals and activities reflect the needs and priorities of residents.
- Working to encourage diversity: Recruiting so that an accurate representation of the population is represented including inland/lakeshore/riverbank permanent residents and cottagers.
- Improving transparency and accountability: Communicating more clearly and frequently through publicly posting Board minutes, more consistent email monitoring and communication and Facebook updates.
- E-Transfers for membership dues: Joining is now easy with e-transfers to the PACA email address and automatic deposit into the PACA account.
